The Lancia Delta was a variant of the 1st Gen Lancia Delta, known for its success in rally competitions and its robust design by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The Delta was introduced in 1979 and featured a range of engines, including a 1.3L and 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine. The Delta LX was known for its higher trim level, offering features like metallic paint, 14-inch alloy wheels, and a luxurious interior with upholstery designed by the Italian fashion house Zegna. The Delta´s sportier version badged as the GT was also available after 1982 powered by a 1.6L inline 4 introducing new suspension, disc brakes in all four wheels, lower profile tyres and air conditioning.
