The Lamborghini Aventador was a high performance supercar that debuted for the 2012 model year. The Aventador replaced the Lamborghini Murcielago as Lamborghini's flagship model, and was launched with the LP700-4 variant. The LP700-4 was offered in a sleek coupe powered by Lamborghini's L539 engine, which was a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12. This engine generates 690hp which is sent to all four wheels via a 7 speed automatic transmission. Production of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 lasted until 2016, when it was replaced by the Lamborghini Aventador LP740-4 S.
