The Lada 2106 was a family of compact cars that debuted in 1976. The 2106 was a licenced version of the Fiat 124, and is regarded as one of Lada's most successful cars. Over the course of production, only a 1.6L inline four engine was fitted, with either a 4 speed manual or 3 speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. After a long run, the 2106 was finally discontinued in 2006.
