The Lada 2101 was a series of compact cars that were introduced in 1970. The 2101 was a licenced version of the Fiat 124, and it was offered in sedan (2101), and station wagon (2102) body styles. These cars were powered by a 1.2L, 1.3L, or 1.5L inline four engine, with drive being sent to the rear wheels through a manual or automatic transmission. For various export markets, the 2101 was sold as the 1200, 1200S, and 1300, depending on the destination market. Production of the Lada 2101 lasted until 1988.
