Jensen 541S (1961 to 1963)

The Jensen 541S was a range of luxury grand tourers introduced for the 1961 model year. The 541S was an evolution of the Jensen 541R, and featured a wider track as well as an improved and more refined interior. Although Jensen trialled several V8 engine options for the 541S, supply issues eventually forced the company to use an Austin-sourced 4.0L inline six engine. This series of two door coupes was in production until 1963, with 127 examples believed to have been built.
