The Jaguar E-Type Series 1.5 was an unofficial generation that was introduced in 1967 as a mix between Series 1 and Series 2. The series 1.5 cars had uncovered headlights, different dash switches and the American version cars only had two carburetors instead of three. All the series 1.5 cars had the 4.2L I6 that produced 265 hp and 283 lb/ft sending power to the rear wheels. Production of the series 1.5 lasted until 1968 when the Series 2 came to market.
