Humber motorcycles were manufactured in two main periods by Humber Limited, starting in 1902. These early motorcycles were usually equipped with single-cylinder and twin-cylinder engines. Production of Humber motorcycles was reduced during World War I and finally stopped in the 1930s. Later in the 1940s, following World War II, the brand returned to manufacturing motorcycles for a short period, but it was not sustained and the Humber brand eventually ceased all motorcycle manufacturing. After this, Humber focused exclusively on automobile production before the company disappeared completely in the 1960s.
