The Humber MK IV Armored Car was introduced in 1942 by Humber Limited for World War II. This model was an evolution of the previous Humber armored cars and became one of the most used vehicles by Allied forces. The chassis was adapted for military operations, designed to protect the crew against small arms and projectile fragments. It had a roof-mounted turret, with space for the gunner. This all wheel drive car was equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission and powered by a 4.1L inline six engine. The Humber MK IV was equipped with a set of weapons suitable for light engagements: main machine gun (designed to destroy light vehicles and provide support against infantry) and secondary machine gun (coaxial with the main gun). The Humber MK IV Armored Car was produced until 1945.
