As part of the 2002 model year update to the NA2 Honda NSX, a refreshed targa-topped NSX-T was introduced. These semi-convertible sports cars are known as the 'Facelift' NSX-T, and feature the larger and more powerful 3.2L V6 engine. This all-aluminum engine has an output of 290hp, which is sent to the rear wheels through a 6 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission. Production of the NA2 Honda NSX-T 'Facelift' ended in 2005 when Honda decided to stop building the NSX. It would be over a decade until Honda re-introduced the NSX name as part of the Second Generation Honda NSX.
