For the 2002 model year, Honda updated the NA2 Honda NSX, giving the now well-established sports car a refreshed look. These refreshed cars are commonly known as 'Facelift' cars, with the most obvious change being the pop-up headlights being replaced with fixed units. Although the vast majority of NA2 NSX cars built were targa-topped NSX-T versions, coupes were still available in the Japanese market. These 'Facelift' coupes were powred by a 290hp 3.2L V6 engine that was paired to a 6 speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission with both gearboxes sending drive to the rear wheels. Production of the NA2 'Facelift' Honda NSX lasted until 2005, when the model ended production. It wouldn't be until the 2017 model year when Honda would introduce a new NSX, as the Second Generation Honda NSX.
