The NA2 Honda NSX was the second evolution of the 1st Gen Honda NSX, debuting for the 1998 model year. The NA2 featured a range of changes over the previous NA1, with the most noteworthy being the larger 3.2L V6 powerplant. These updated sports cars were offered in a coupe or targa-topped NSX-T body style that was facelifted for 2002. Due to this mid-life refresh, variants are known as pre-facelift or facelift cars depending on their year of manufacture. Four main variants of the NA2 NSX were built: Coupe 'Pre-facelift', NSX-T 'Pre-facelift', Coupe 'Facelift', and NSX-T 'Facelift'. In addition to these variants, a limited production, high-performance version known as the Type S was available for the Japanese market. Honda ceased production of the NSX in 2005, eventually reviving the model for the 2017 model year as the Second Generation Honda NSX.
