Hobart, also known as Hobart Bird and Co, was a British motorcycle manufacturer that had originally begun operations as a bicycle builder before turning to motorcycles in 1901. Hobart went on to build a range of motorcycles including two-stroke and four-stroke versions. The company continued to build motorcycles until 1923, when it was acquired by Rex-Acme and renamed Hobart-Acme before production ended in 1924. Although motorcycle production ended in 1924, Hobart motorcycle engines remained in production for a few years.
