The GMC Canyon was a series of compact and mid-sized pickup trucks introduced for the 2004 model year. The Canyon is an upmarket version of the Chevrolet Colorado, and has been offered in two generations: 1st Gen (2004-2012), and 2nd Gen (2013-2021). The initial generation of Canyon was created to follow up the compact GMC Sonoma, but for the second generation, the Canyon became a mid-size model.
