Gilbern Sports Cars Ltd, better known as Gilbern, was a Welsh automotive manufacturer that was founded in 1959. Gilbern was established by Giles Smith and Bernard Friese, and named after taking letters from their first names. The company was a low production automaker, but still built notable models like the GT, Genie, and Invader. After ownership of the company passed through a few hands, operations finally ceased in 1973.
