Meccanica Italiana Fratelli Ferrari, better known as Fratelli Ferrari was an Italian motorcycle manufacturer that began operations in 1952. Fratelli Ferrari, which was created by two brothers that shared the Ferrari last name, had no connection to Enzo Ferrari or his famed Ferrari automotive company. The first motorcycle, known as the Ferrari 125, sold well due to people thinking it was an actual motorcycle built by Ferrari. Not long after, a lawsuit forced the company to change their products to the name Fratelli Ferrari in order to avoid confusion with the legendary Italian car company. With any connection to Ferrari automobiles, the company released a few other models, but did not meet great commercial success, eventually causing the company to end operations in 1955.
