The Intermediate generation of the Ford Falcon was a short lived offering that only existed for the 1970.5 model year. This generation is known as the Intermediate generation because it saw the Falcon briefly become an intermidate-size car. Only available as a 1970.5 model, these Falcons were offered in coupe, sedan, and station wagon body styles. Four engine options were available, a 250ci inline six, a 302ci V8, a 351ci V8, and the largest engine offered in a Falcon, the 429ci 'Cobra Jet' V8. These engines were paired to manual or automatic transmissions, with drive being sent to the rear wheels.
