The seventh and final generation of Ford Fairlane debuted for the 1970 model year. Two door hardtop, four door sedan, and station wagon body styles were offered, a range of optional V8 engines alongside the standard 4.1L inline six. The seventh generation only saw one year of production before the model was rolled into the Ford Torino.
