The Ford F-250 was a variant of the 3rd Gen F-Series Super Duty that debuted for the 2011 model year. The F-250 Super Duty was a heavy-duty truck that was built in standard, extended (SuperCab), and Crew Cab passenger configurations, with short or long truck bed options. The standard gasoline engine was the 6.2L 'Boss' V8, but an optional 6.7L 'Powerstroke' V8 diesel option. A 6 speed automatic transmission was the sole gearbox option, with rear or all wheel drive. Production of the 3rd Gen F-250 ended in 2016, when it was replaced by the 4th Gen Ford F-250 Super Duty.
