The Ferrari SF90 Spider is an open-top variant of the Ferrari SF90 equipped with a retractable hardtop and that debuted for the 2020 model year. It is the first Ferrari plug-in hybrid car offered as an open-top variant and it is also the most powerful non-limited convertible car in the world. The powertrain is dubbed a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle), and it employs a twin turbocharged 4.0L V8 derived from the 488 Pista and F8 Tributo, together with three electric motors. Two electric motors are located at the front two wheels, and the third is mid-mounted with the V8 behind the seats. Total PS/HP is close to 1000 and is harnessed by a torque vectoring system and delivered to all four wheels by an eight-speed, dual-clutch transmission. The Assetto Fiorano track-focused package is also available for the SF90 Spider.
