The Ferrari 250 Re-creation market includes vehicles that are based on an original Ferrari 250 chassis, but have been extensively customized and/or re-bodied to re-create a special variant within the 250 range. Although these are generally considered tributes of other more rare or unique 250's, they hold more value than a typical replica (ie, vehicles based on a non-Ferrari chassis). Given the diversity and provenance of the vehicles in this market, each sample should be evaluated on a case by case basis.
