The Facel Vega Facel 6 was a limited production model offered in 1964. The Facel 6 was created to sit between the Facel II and the Facel III. Named 6 for its 2.9L inline six engine, the Facel 6 was powered by a modified version of the Austin-Healey 3000 powerplant. Both manual and automatic transmissions were available, with drive sent to the rear wheels. Created too late to save the struggling company, the Facel 6 saw just 44 examples built before the company ended prouduction and operations as a whole. Of the 44 examples, 35 were coupes, and 9 were cabriolets, with one of those featuring a fixed hardtop.
