Ducati 999 (2002 to 2007)

Superseding the Ducati 998, the Ducati 999 was a Sport bike style motorcycle that debuted in 2002. The 999 was powered by a liquid cooled 998cc Twin-cylinder, 90° L-type engine producing 124hp. From 2005 model year, the 999 was tuned to produce 136hp and the 999S was also offered. A 999R variant was part of the 999 model. The R´s engine produced 139hp and 144hp after 2005. The Ducati 999 was replaced by the Ducati 1098 in 2007.
