Ducati 916 (1994 to 1998)

The Ducati 916 was a Sport bike style motorcycle that debuted in 1994 replacing the Ducati 888. The 916 was powered by a liquid cooled 916cc Twin-cylinder, 90° L-type engine. Apart from the three Senna Special Editions offered by Ducati to commemorate Formula 1 World Champion Ayrton Senna, the sought after Ducati 916 SPS variant was powered by a bigger displacement liquid cooled 996cc Twin-cylinder, 90° L-type engine. Successor of Ducati 888 the 916 was superseded by the Ducati 996 in 1999.
