Donkervoort Automobielen BV, more commonly known as Donkervoort, is a Dutch automotive manufacturer that was established in 1978. Founded by Joop Donkervoort, the company began by modifying Lotus Seven kit cars before they eventually began creating their own cars from the ground up. Donkervoort's motto is "No Compromise," and the company builds cars with no anti-lock brakes, no traction control, or any other driver aids, allowing the driver to focus on the experience. The company has built a range of models, including the S7, S8, D8 - Base Model, D8 GTO, D8 GTO-JD70 and F22.
