DMW Motorycles was a British motorcycle manufacturer that first began operations in 1940 as a parts manufacturer. Originally operating as Dawson Motors Wolverhampton, in 1945 the company began producing completed motorcycles. Their motorcycles were initially aimed at grass track racing, but eventually expanded to cover a wide range of production. DMW continued motorcycle production until 1971, when the company ceased operations as a manufacturer and focused on operating as a parts manufacturer.
