The DeLorean DMC-12, commonly referred to as the DeLorean, was an automobile that was introduced for the 1981 model year. The DMC-12 was available with an automatic or manual transmissions. Production of the Automatic transmission equipped DeLorean DMC-12 lasted until 1983.
