Founded in 1938, DB, or Deutsch-Bonnet, was a French automobile manufacturer. Formed by Charles Deutsch and René Bonnet, DB began its life producing racing cars, yet gradually evolved to producing road cars. The company produced many notable cars during its existence, including the HBR 4/5, the Le Mans, and the Antem coachbuilt DB8. The company broke apart when differences between the founders caused them to go separate ways.
