The Daimler DK400 was a series of full size luxury cars that were introduced for the 1955 model year. The DK400 represented Daimler's top offering at the time, and was available in a range of open and closed coachbuilt body styles from coachbuilders such as Hooper and Carbodies. These high end luxury cars were powered by a 4.2L inline six engine that sent power to the rear wheels via a 4 speed preselector manual transmission. Production of the Daimler DK400 was limitied, with just 93 examples built before the model was discontinued in 1959.
