For the 1937 model year, Chrysler reintroduced the Royal name for a series of entry-level cars. The second generation of Royal was a range of sedans, convertibles, and coupes fitted with an inline six engine. Over the course of its life, the second generation Royal would see updates to its styling, until production ended in 1950.
