The third generation Chrysler LeBaron was introduced for the 1987 model year. In 1987, the coupe and convertible variants were introduced while it was only until 1990 that the sedan variant was unveiled. The third generation LeBaron was offered with a range of inline four engines, or a 3.0L V6 option. Production of the Chrysler LeBaron sedan ended in 1994, but the coupe and convertible continued until 1995.
