The seventh and final generation of Chrysler Imperial was introduced for the 1990 model year. The seventh generation Imperial was the first time the Imperial name was used on a Chrysler model for 35 years, as Imperial had previously been its own brand. This short lived generation of mid sized cars was only available as a four door sedan, and was fitted with a 3.3L or 3.8L V6 engine. Production of the Chrysler Imperial ended in 1993.
