The Chrysler 300 Hurst was a special high performance variant of the 300 Non-Letter Series. Available exclusively for the 1970 model year, the 300 Hurst was offered as a two door hardtop, although two convertibles are known to exist. For the 300 Hurst, Chrysler collaborated with Hurst Performance, with Chrysler building the car, and Hurst finished the cars with special paint, detailing, wheels, and a rear spoiler. Power for the 300 Hurst came from a 7.2L 'TNT' V8 engine that produced 375hp. There is often debate about whether the 300 Hurst considered to be part of the 300 Letter Series lineage due to it being a high performance version of a Chrysler 300. During its brief production, a total of 502 examples are believed to have been built.
