The Chrysler 300B was introduced for the 1956 model year. The 300B was the second variant for the 300 Letter Series, and established the naming convention used by the model until the end of production (300 followed by a letter). The 300B was only offered as a two door hardtop, and was visually very similar to the C-300, apart from updated tailfins. A 5.8L (354ci) Hemi V8 unit was the only engine option, but it was offered in two states of tune. The 300B was only available for the 1956 model year and was replaced by the Chrysler 300C.
