The second generation of the Chevrolet Silverado (GMT900) was introduced for the 2007 model year. It featured a redesigned exterior, interior, frame, and suspension as well as power increases on certain engines. During that year, some models of the 1st generation Silverado would overalp in production. The 2nd gen was succeeded by the 3rd generation Silverado's in 2014, with some models also overlaping during the year.
