In 2012 Chevrolet was looking for a way to celebrate the Camaro, and what better way than the 45th Anniversary Edition of the Camaro. Chevrolet’s special model would be available in coupe and convertible and came in a (black) Carbon Flash Metallic with grey stripes incorporating a red “45th” panel on both the hood and rear deck lid.  Each 45th Anniversary Edtionl came standard with the RS package of HID headlights, and taillights, as well as a rear spoiler. Unique 20” wheels also accompany the special edition along with many 45th Anniversary cues on the door sills seat backs and front fenders.  The 45th Anniversary Edition was available as a  base model Camaro and the performance variant 5th Gen SS.
