The Callaway Camaro was a performance variant of the 5th Gen Camaro built by Callaway Enterprises. Callaway Enterprises has a long history with GM of modifying Corvettes by changing the suspension and adding engine performance mods such as turbo chargers and superchargers to punch up the horsepower substantially more than the factory output.  During the 2010-2015 production run GM would send Camaro SS cars to Callaway, who then added a supercharger and tuned the SC552 automatic transmission version, and the SC572 with a 6-speed manual. In each model the numeric portion represents the horsepower output. In 2013 Callaway released the SC562 automatic, and the SC582 with a 6-speed manual. Each model features a short throw shifter, Callaway 9 spoke alloy wheels, and a Callaway hood with a fixed window above the engine trimmed in carbon fiber as well as spoilers and a unique body kit.
