Capriolo was an Italian motorcycle manufacturer that began production in 1948. Capriolo was the motorcycle divison of Aeromere, a well known aerospace manufacturer who was forced into motorcycle production after WW2 due to post-war restrictions on the building of military vehicles and hardware. A wide range of motorcyles were built by Capriolo until the company ended production in 1964 due to dwindling demand caused by the introduction of economical cars such as the Fiat 500.
