Canada Cycle & Motor Co. Ltd., or C.C.M., was established when the operations of four major Canadian bicycle manufacturers amalgamated. Canada's Red Bull bicycle manufacturer decided to expand into the motorcycle market, contracting modular Swiss designed engines by the Dufaux brothers, later known as Motosacoche. These modular engines, installed in any bicycle of the appropriate frame size. Very few bikes were produced with engines under the C.C.M brand.
