The Cadillac XLR-V was a high performance variant of the Cadillac XLR that debuted for the 2006 model year. The XLR-V was built in a folding hardtop convertible body style, and was powered by a supercharged 4.4L 'Northstar' V8 engine. This powerplant had an output of 443hp and 414 lb ft that was sent to the rear wheels through a 6 speed automatic transmission. Production of the Cadillac XLR-V ended in 2009 with just 2,188 examples built.
