The second generation of Cadillac V-16 was introduced for the 1938 model year. This new generation of V-16 saw the consolidation of the Cadillac V-12 and V-16 into one model, the Series 90. All Series 90 cars were fitted with a 7.1L V16 engine, and were available in a number of body styles, including coachbuilts bodies. The second generation V-16 saw production end in 1940.
