The first generation of Cadillac CTS was introduced for the 2003 model year. The CTS was a series of mid size luxury sedans offered with a range of V6 and V8 engines. The most notable first generation variant was the Cadillac CTS-V, a high performance version of the CTS. Production of the first generation CTS lasted until 2007, and was replaced by the Second Generation Cadillac CTS.
