The Scout was introduced by BSA in 1935. It was a two-seater sports car that stood out for its low center of gravity, which gave it notable stability in curves. Between 1935 and 1937 the Scout was equipped with rear-wheel drive, but later some versions began to incorporate front-wheel drive. This transition was part of an effort to improve the vehicle's stability and handling. This car had 3 or 4-speed manual transmission options. During its years of production, power evolved from 1075cc to 1141cc and finally to 1203cc, always inline four engines. The BSA Scout production ceased in 1939 with the outbreak of World War II.
