The BMW Z4 2.2i was a variant of the E85 BMW Z4 that was introduced for the 2003 model year. The Z4 2.2i, which was not offered in North America, was only available in a convertible body style. The 2.2i was powered by a 2.2L version of BMW's M54 inline six engine. Both 5 speed automatic and 5 speed manual transmissions were available, with drive being sent to the rear wheels. Production of the E85 BMW Z4 2.2i lasted until 2005.
