The fourth generation of the BMW X5, known as the G05, was introduced for the 2019 model year. These updated SUVs were powered by a range of turbocharged inline four, inline six, and V8 engines. While the majority of G05 X5s were all wheel drive, 'sDrive' rear wheel drive was also available. The most notable G05 variant was the performance-focused X5 M, but other variants include the sDrive40i, xDrive40i, xDrive45e, xDrive50e, xDrive50i, M50i, and M60i.
