Bean Cars, better known as Bean, was a British automotive manufacturer that was estalished in 1919. The parent company, A Harper Sons & Bean, Ltd, had previously achieved success as a wartime munitions manufacturer, but after WW1, Bean transitioned to automotive manufacturing. After a period of initial success, Bean encountered financial difficulties, eventually being sold to Hadfields Limited, who shifted Bean into commercial vehicles, before the brand ended automobile manufacturing in 1931.
