The fourth generation Audi A6 was introduced for the 2011 model year. This fourth generation of A6 was known as the C7, and was offered as a sedan or 'Avant' station wagon. The A6 (C7) was fitted with a range of inline four and V6 engines, and featured the high performance S6 and RS6, as well as the Allroad, among its most notable variants. Production of the A6 (C7) ended in 2018, when it was replaced by the Fifth Generation Audi A6.
