The Audi RS5 was the high performance variant for the 1st Gen Audi A5 that debuted for the 2011 model year. The RS5 was available as a Coupe or Cabriolet, and featured numerous upgrades to the drivetrain and chassis in order to give the car greater performance. As well as mechanical upgrades, the design saw more aggressive bodywork and styling. These cars were equipped with a 444hp 4.2L V8 engine that combined with a 7 speed dual-clutch S-Tronic automatic transmission to send power to all four wheels. The 1st Gen Audi RS5 was built until 2015 before being replaced by the 2nd Gen RS5.
