The Aston Martin V8 Vantage AMR was a limited production variant of the V8 Vantage that was introduced for the 2018 model year. The AMR, which stands for Aston Martin Racing, was offered in both Coupe and Roadster body styles. This series of high performance sports cars were fitted with the same 4.7L V8 as available in the V8 Vantage S, although the AMR features a range of upgrades and weight saving measures. Although fitted as standard with a 7 speed automated manual transmission, a 6 speed manual was available as an option. Just a total of 200 examples of the V8 Vantage AMR were built before the end of production.
