One of the rarest, and most unique variants of the Aston Martin DB5 is the DB5 Shooting Brake. Built in 1965, the DB5 Shooting Brake was created due to Aston Martin boss David Brown's need for a DB5 that was capable of accommodating his dogs and hunting gear. As Aston Martin was too busy during this period, the company had coachbuilder Radford produce the vehicles. These featured their unique shooting brake body style, but were powered by the same 282hp straight six used in the DB5 Coupe and DB5 Convertible. Just 12 examples of the Aston Martin DB5 Shooting Brake were built.
