The M35 is a family of 2½-ton military multi purpose cargo trucks. Often referred to as the "Deuce and a Half," the M35 was originally designed and built by REO, but was then manufactured by Kaiser, which was purchased by AMC and spun off into AM General. Three main evolutions of the M35 were built: M35A1, M35A2, and M35A3. A wide range of naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines were used to power the M35, which was in production until 1999.
